My Snooker, Pool & General Sports DVDs

{short description of image}

Hi, I have a large collection of snooker, pool, World Cup football, other sports and general interest videos, mainly transferred to DVD, which I have compiled over a number of years. My pride and joy is my Alex Higgins collection, which contains very scarce, rarely seen footage which I acquired from various sources. If you are interested in learning more about my collection, please {short description of image} me for a chat. I am starting a list of the main items on DVD below, and will be adding to it as I go along.

Note: I have not updated this page for some time until now (January 2010), but I have a good proportion of all tournaments since the last item mentioned, including the World Champs 2008, so brilliantly dominated by Ronnie O'Sullivan (10 discs, all of his matches) and the World Champs 2009, the majority of matches complete.

Latest additions: The Shanghai Masters 2009, which saw another virtuoso display by Ronnie O'Sullivan and the rising star that is Chinese player Liang Wenbo. 9 DVDs in total. I also have all tournaments from last season, including the best matches from the World Championships 2009 and the UK Champs 2009.

STOP PRESS: Have we just seen two of the greatest matches of all time? The Masters 2010 saw a fantastic semi final between Ronnie O'Sullivan and a resurgent Mark Williams, playing his best snooker for several seasons, followed by an even better (probably) Final between Ronnie and Mark Selby, now becoming one of the best match players in the world. I won't tell you the score, just that Ronnie led 9-6 (first to 10) and then .... I have the whole tournament (with a number of other thrilling matches) on 18 DVDs, Semi Finals and Final on 4 DVDs.

*I am hosting a page of horse racing tips and selections (UK & Ireland racing only), based on a system I have developed and my own research. This often throws up big-priced winners and placed horses. For instance it threw up Mister McGoldrick, winner at Cheltenham at 66/1 and, more recently, Mohawk Star at 20/1 (opened 25/1 and tipped on my page 6 hours before the race!) Latest results include Mon Mome at 100/1 in the Grand National, Cosmic Sun at 66/1 at Ascot, Pintano 33/1 and He's A Humbug 28/1. If you are interested, please go here.
